FINAL EVENTS! Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4 to 6pm and Monday, Nov. 5 from 4 to 6pm
Turning out voters is going to be a huge factor in whether we make the Blue Wave a reality this November. With the midterm elections less than 3 weeks away, it’s time to pull out all the stops.
You can join the Corruption/Conflicts of Interest committee and other Indivisible Montgomery members on the Longmead Overpass, over Route 200 Intercounty Connector, as we remind drivers to get out and vote. We will wave flags and hang signs encouraging drivers to defend democracy and vote November 6.
We only have two more events left: Thursday, Nov. 1 and Monday, Nov. 5. Please click here to RSVP. All are welcome.
Sister groups in Howard County have had great success with a similar project bringing attention to the separation of immigrant children from their families. Read the Baltimore Sun article covering their protest.
Where: Longmead Overpass (over Route 200, Intercounty Connector)
Parking: Residential parking is adjacent. Before 5:00, free parking on Wintergate Dr.; 5:00 and after, park on Wintergate or Park Vista. Pedestrian sidewalks are open on both sides of the overpass.
Hope to see you there!
