Saturday, January 26, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Kensington Park Library.
Feeling helpless in the face of hate? Outraged by the obfuscation? Join Indivisible Montgomery and your fellow Montgomery County residents as we work for diversity, inclusion, transparency, and the empowerment of all Americans through political activism.
After a discussion of Indivisible Montgomery activities, we will welcome Ana Martinez, Lead Organizer at CASA, to our meeting. We will hear what CASA is doing in our community and how Indivisible Montgomery members can be more involved.
Following the main meeting, topic-specific committees will have the opportunity to meet in smaller groups.
Indivisible Montgomery’s committees include Elections, Environment and Science, Guns and Health Care, Corruption and Conflicts of Interest, and more. Guests interested in becoming more involved with Indivisible Montgomery are encouraged to visit with the committee leaders.
We will also be collecting food to donate to the Manna Food Bank in Gaithersburg.
Admission is free. All are welcome.
